hello! i was water changing one ofbthe tanks at work when i saw this little guy stuck on to one of the tubes and i've never seen it before. i doubt it's harmful since my boss said he wouldn't worry about it but i wanted to know what it was out of curiosity lol

Here's a screenshot from the video. It appears to be full of water, a little like bubble algae. I can't remember the name though...

Going based off of the screenshot, maybe “red bubble algae”? I believe red bubble algae is (at least thought to be) Botryocladia skottsbergii or a similar species.

possibly, although in person it was a lot more blue than red, the photo wasn't great unfortunately, if it's still there by my next shift i'll try and get another photo

it is yeah lol, the store plumbs all the tanks seperately rather than doing one big system to prevent disease spread, but that does unfortunately make it easier for paramaters to get out of wack from time to time in individual tanks, i took the photo just after doing a pretty large water change to try and combat that

I would guess red bubble algae too. Mine was red with orange dots on it, pretty but didn't live very long.
