It is also the distinct ring around the center - not to mention the color - night and day between the real ones, and the ones that other people are selling as "lookalikes"
I saw both in the same tank and was blown away by the difference in brilliance......
It really only matters to those that are willing to pay the money, are collectors, or just really want the real thing. but there is a big difference.
Just a question, I have seen this before and was wondering why. In the pic above, why wouldn't you place the PHs in the center of the frag instead of right on the outer edge, also why the small piece of rubble on the frag plug right above the PHs?
Some of the frags I make are not in the center because I let my zoas grow onto the frag plug so they tend to be on the side. Specially ones I can not get out of the tank to cut.
Thanks, I was wondering, yours aren't the only ones I have seen like that, so I guess alot of people do the same thing as you. Also, the PHs look really nice.
Nano-newb,
Those to me look like what everyone is calling purple hornets, but if you look at Ebay and a lot of coral sites, the African Blue hornets seem to be the same as the AOI. Such as http://aquasd.com/index.php?location=zoas
