I don't understand?

Every time I do a water change my fish die. I did a 10% water change the first time and I lost two chrome fish. I did a second one a month later and my blenny died but my damsels are fine. My water is at the right temp and my salt is right on. I'm using ro/do water also. I checked all my parameters before I did one and everything was good but I thought I should do one. I'm thinking that I'm just going to leave it alone for a while. What do you guys think?

Could you exactly describe your water change process? I big one is when and where do you mix the salt into the RO?

This! You are not adding the salt mix to the tank are you?

I use a 5 gallon bucket. I Put the water in first. Then I put the salt in second. I put my heater and mag 3 in there for a couple hours by then my water is mixed good and the water is warm.

I just did all parameters again. My pH in my tank is 8.0 to 8.4 and my ro is not showing anything. I'm starting to grow a lot of cyano in my sump for some reason but I think that's me over feeding.

Stop doing water changes.

Add macro algae to your sump or in a refugium.

See if that helps.
