12 obviously makes one think alveopora, and it does look like tubes growing from the base. The color is right too, but seems more translucent.

I thought alveopora but the only one I ever had was this on.

And I forgot to mention that I found one growing on the back glass. Want to know what it is before they grow and over took the tank.

They do look alike.
I will squirt water or food and see how the react. If they retract or do anything.

Sometimes both names get used for these pest anemones. Not saying it’s that for sure, but the growth rate has me wondering.

Before seeing the video I was almost going to say pocillopora if you had a piece somewhere else in the tank but man the retraction sure looks like goni tentacles but the shape seems off. Definitely not typical alveo shaped either

Yeah that's Cooper. I love him. I cried when I dosed to much kalkwasser once and he went into shock. Looked dead for about half hour. Rookie learning he hobby.

Alright. Tomorrow am going to scalpel one of these thing out to see what kind of base they have. Looks stony base from what I could see.
