Have you read about how @brandon429 takes care of his 1 gallon? Super nice looking gallon tank BTW! Now I think I want to try it out. Sounds like a really fun project. Congrats Jake!I was at my friends house a few months back, saw it in his basement and instantly saw a reef in it lol. I told him I have to take it home, he was more than happy to give it up. Broke down my 30 last weekend, set up a ten gallon that held some final pieces of coral and few left over fish. Once all the stragglers sold, I decided to set up the jar. It's one gallon (without rock) heated by a small beta tank heater, and a air pump for flow (surprising amount of random flow from this alone). It was very tough to get rock and coral in the jar, used long tweezers to attatch the coral to the LR. Taking a very simple approach to this jar, weekly water changes using a turkey baster, topping off the water every other day with a turkey baster, and will spot feed reef roids.
No I'll check it out, obviously stability is critical with the volume. Thanks a lot, I'm pretty excited about it.Have you read about how @brandon429 takes care of his 1 gallon? Super nice looking gallon tank BTW! Now I think I want to try it out. Sounds like a really fun project. Congrats Jake!
