Bought a generator! I have a UPS to power the Ph's for a few hours in case of a power failure, but nothing for a longer outage. The lights flickered during one of these noreasters and that's when I decided it was time before I was sorry for not having one. Ahhh! Peace of mind.

I have a UPS and generator, except I had a power outage the other week and I have left my generator on the boat. It's out of the water at the moment and I'm anti fouling the hull. Fortunately the UPS held out until the power was restored.

I am planning on getting this set up ASAP! Living in Arizona during them summers sometimes Power Outages happen and it would be a terrible thing to come home to a Flooded / Dying tank. Any recommendations on a Small inexpensive one? My tank is only 55g's and if an outage happens is tends to be back up within an hour tops.

A transformer blew last year and we lost power for about 2 hours. The UPS was at half power when the power was turned on again so it looks like I can get about 4-5 hours out of the UPS.
