Hey y'all I've been lurking for a while here and finally decided to join the fun. I currently have a 75 gal build in progress, and a 8 gallon biocube FOWLR. I used to be a small time freshwater guy, but saltwater really got me hooked. I've had the 75 up for a few months now but i'm now doing almost a complete rebuild due to algae, cyano, and sump issues. This hobby has taught me so much already and I can't wait to see whats in store.

Welcome to R2R!!! There is always more to learn and the great news is that you found the best place for information and for a great saltwater community!

WELCOME to R2R! Glad to see you're excited about saltwater keeping after going through an algae/cyano issue. A complete breakdown of a new tank setup? Keep in mind new tanks often go through some issues when young. It takes a while for a balance of good bacteria to out compete the bad stuff. With good tank maintenance and time, several problems can correct themselves. If not, check to make sure you have enough flow. Good flow helps present cyano from taking hold. Good luck with the new build! Glad to have you with us. :)
