I couldn't take it anymore and after 2 months with my new tank and stand still MIA I decided it was time to crack open the Apex 2016. I got it setup on wireless, flashed, and time and stuff configured. One thing I noticed was the red probe (ORP?) The tip was not dry, but has very little fluid. Should it be fine do you think or should I contact Neptune before moving forward?

I'm sure you will see more stupid questions as I try to get to a point where I can use a DOS to dose Alk and Cal so my wife doesn't have too.

As long as there was some fluid, the tip should be ok, try it out first to test it.
I’ve seen some of my other probes that were actually dried out for over a year or more be ok.

Look at the Neptune forum. There are a bunch of programming examples. Also download the comprehensive manual from their site. I actually printed it out and put it in a binder so I can scribble notes in it.
