I bought my coral at the lfs and forgot it name I know I’m dumb but please save it just want to be able to research it more and make sure I’m providing for it correctly. It’s closed right now but usually has bright blue polyps

I am gonna need a photo with the polyps out, or under white light

From what I can tell in the picture it looks like a morph of Cyphastrea. But I could be wrong.

I can also tell you the lfs said it’s a coral that can sting
Is that fully open? Could be a cyphastrea as the post above says, could also be a really upset goniopora, or a leptastrea, will need another photo of it fully open, maybe a clearer photo? I'll be able to tell from the skeleton structure, though can't see much from this photo, also do you have a rough size measurement?

Sorry I just got it today still opening goniopora sounds familiar will look that up I’d say it’s a little less then 1”x1”
