I’m getting back in the game after 5 years. What did I miss?

LED's can't grow coral, wait they can.

Nitrates are bad, nitrates are good, nitrates both good and bad.

Frags are double (maybe triple) the cost. Ones with fancy names are stupidly high priced.

The hobby is still fun!

I was out for a few years myself and I didn't feel like I missed much but I did forget a lot. I will say the selection of leds is much better.

1st, Welcome to R2R ! As for changes? In 5 years a few refinements & cost for equipment. Lots of folks using led lighting these days. A little research& You will be up & running !

I had this same questions about a year ago...but I was out of the hobby for 10 years...for me there was a pretty BIG change, but it's awesome!
