So I’ve had a rainbow bubble tip anemone in my tank for about 2 months. He’s moved around a bit but had settled for a few weeks in one spot.

A week ago he moved, I saw him stop a few times, never for long. Now I haven’t seen him for a full week, no sign of him.

My concern is 2 fold, one I want him to be ok, 2, I understand if he dies in the tank it can ruin the whole thing. I have newly placed coral all over my live rock so I can’t just uproot all the rocks to find him.

What should I do??

Take a few deep breaths and relax. It going to do what it wants. Make sure it does not get chopped up in a power head and your tank should be fine.

+1 cover up power heads. How are you Parameters?

come out , come out wherever you are

I second the deep breath! Whatever happens, you’ll recover lol
Plus nems are weird so he could just be an angry teenager right now

They’re very moody. I had one end up on the back underside of my rocks hiding from everything once. It eventually came out which led to my maroon clown loving it to death.

My RBTA when first placed in the tank moved around quite a bit before it settled down. There was one week where I lost sight of it when it moved through a gap on the top of the rocks, moved through the center and came out the bottom.

This is shot of it squeezing out the bottom.

Just did all these tests while waiting for corals to show up. Use Hanna for all but mag, use Red Sea for that one
