I got a question about mixing The salt

So I’m pretty much ready to start the cycle (after I replace a impeller shaft in an aquaclear)

Could I mix the salt in the Tank with nothing in there to stir the salt?
(No sand or rocks only the HOB and a koralia nano)

I mixed my first batch of saltwater in my tank without sand/rock just a glass box. I didn’t notice any ill effect on any equipment.
