I think I have sold my aquarium including the live stock and equipment. We are supposed to do the deed on Sunday. Very nice person but he has no experience. I am going to help him (along with some of his friends) make the move. I feel responsible so I suppose it is good for me to help. He is getting an amazing deal and I could have sold everything 2x in the past day. I just want everything to survive the 15 mile trip and give him some real enjoyment. I guess it is always mixed emotions, a part of me says it is time and then I look at how nice it has developed over the past couple of years and I think now what am I going to look at. My wife has done an incredible job of aquascaping and helping with the cleaning.

Why are you leaving the hobby?
Age to some extent. I don't want to be the oldest reefer (next to Ron Reefman). We have other things going on and I have been in the hobby since 1985, off and on. I think reefing hits on all of the notes, so beautiful, interesting science and many others.

Obviously you had a good run and a gorgeous tank, so hats off to ya.
