I had a dream!

Have you ever woke up in a panic because in your dream something happened to your tank?

Well, last night that happened to me!

In my dream, I came down stairs and I noticed my water level low. My return pump turned off for some reason. My skimmer cup that was full was now in my tank water and for some reason in my dream, that got back into the tank lol "not possible because the return pump was off" but it happened in my dream.

I been dealing with GHA and now because of the skimmer over flow the GHA BOOMED all over my tank and was taking over my corals... I was SO frustrated and upset. Then I woke up in a panic and had to say... O my.... That did not happen thankfully!

Yes I admit, when I came down this morning I peaked slowly at my tank lol...

In my dream I was coming down the stairs and at the last step my foot sunk in to water over my ankles. The whole first floor of my house was holding 4” of water. I walked through the water to the tank and my yellow tang was swimming next to me. The dream then jumped ahead and I remember having 2 wet vacs running and 2 industrial fans going. Some how I heard the wife coming down the stairs and all she said was WHAT THE +*^%. Then I woke up.

That evening before bed some time I told the wife about my dream. This ended being a premonition of sorts. The very next morning I woke up to a flooded stand and damaged equipment. Que creepy music.

O my! Your dream came true... I hope that's not my case.

I didn't have a dream that I can remember, but my normal alarm went off yesterday morning at 4:45 am and I slowly got out of bed, then realized there was a high pitch alarm coming from my tank. The ATO was alarming high water because my return pump died. Tried cleaning it and nothing. Fortunately I got a new return pump for Christmas that I hadn't yet installed. I guess that's my sign. So I'm swapping return pumps at 5 am in my underwear.

It definitely was a bad day. Lost both the power supplies for my tunzy 6105s and a power supply to my AI prime on my frag tank. Top that with being 2 hours late to work. Everything is good now. It was definitely a learning experience.

I’m glad it turned out well. Def sucks.. wild tho you had the dream then something happened

Well last night I had no dreams! Tank is running like new! So, nothing has happened from my dream

When I was in college, I had a 30 gal reef tank in my bedroom. It had the old-school overflow box where water siphons from the internal box to the external box. If any of you remember those, if the siphon got cut or the u-tube got too close to the bottom of the box, the tank would overflow.

One night, I was having an intense dream of being stuck in a war zone. Explosions and smoke and fire all around me, and I was running like crazy to find safety.

Woke up to find that the overflow had cut off and water was pouring out of the tank directly onto a stupidly placed power-strip, which was crackling, popping, smoking, sparking, and in the process of catching things on fire.

Bad way to wake up.

O My! Lol not meaning to laugh but your dream was manifested by the burning power strip!

Ya, an over flow box like that would worrie me daily. I get worried that a snail will get stuck in my overflow one day.. but as of now it’s running nicely!

Having a tank in college seems like a big task. I know Coral12G guy does it
