I hate my ecotech radions

This is a rant.

I decided I wasn't thrilled with the color of some of my corals so I looked around and decided to try to reprogram my radions.

First step - reboot the reeflink. Cause somehow it lost the wifi.

Then try to change the colors while on my laptop, where I can see the tank.

Nope. Can't adjust sliders on the laptop because the webpage is too big for the screen and I can't scroll down.

Go to the desktop. Adjust lighting by changing the program.

Can't seem to adjust the sliders except if I go point to point.

Opps. Reeflink is offline again. Hardwire Reeflink to laptop (which does get the wifi signal just fine).

Ok. Wait. Lights have reprogrammed? I wasn't done.

dangit. Let's just go back to the old one. The one I saved in Dropbox. Except Ecosmart can't find the file. Maybe it didn't save.

Oh, and I left out that every time I TOUCH anything on Ecosmart it "saves" it, which means waiting 2 minutes for it to finish so I can move it back to where it was because I didn't intend to move it.

ARGH.

Close Ecosmart

Relog-in.

Try again.

Bang head.

I need some chocolate.

what browser are you using? Try Edge or Chrome. Ecosmartlive works better with those browsers than IE on my computer. How far is the reeflink from your router? Sounds like the reeflink is more susceptible to some electrical interference than your laptop is. Try hardwiring the reeflink to your router if its possible.

That's what I did I hard wired my reef like to my modem problem solved love my Radion's

I'll look to see if I can hard wire the reeflink. I finally got the lights back to what I had them at before.

Thanks for the support. I just need to rant about technology from time to time.
