I hate when this happens...

I hate when I plan to frag some sps/any corals and I clip them off but they fall and get stuck in a hole I can't get them out of. This happened again today when I was cutting a red planet acro and I clipped it and it fell into a hole. Hate that was going to use the fragged piece for my new build ughhh. Do you guys experience this as well as how do you combat this or do you just accept the fact it happens.

Gently hold onto the piece getting cut so it wont pop off and sink into a hole.
