Tank is set up to be SPS. Just wondering how you guys would run the four Ecotech mp 60s on Mobius… what program and what power ? 50% or higher ?

I used do an alternating current that works with sorm mode with the Radiins. Was worried my glass would break

Each tank is different but many people like reef crest. I run a combo of reef crest with a period of nutrient transport mode mid day. Pick one and experiential starting low and increasing % until your happy and sand isn't been blown around.

Lot of flow for a tank that size. I have 2 MP40's on a 200g and never run them close to full power even when I had acro's. There's an article on Ecotech site on how to set them up for gyre which might be helpful. If you're using Apex you can set up a daily routine which is far simpler than trying to program that Ecotech controller manually or with Mobius. Below is mine same with SPS as current LPS just lower power. The second MP40 is antisync to the pulse below. Closest to gyre with two pumps.

Yes. I have an apex. Did not know you could set them up in apex. Any clues as to how ?

Well sure but I forgot one thing mine are pre Mobius qd's and use the Apex WXM module. Not even sure the WXM works with the newer Mobius enabled pumps. Neptune keeps promising a new module MXM, now that they are one company, that will control Radions and other Mobius devices. So far vapor ware.

I have 4 MP40's and 2 MP60's on my 125 gallon. I run Reef Crest and all MP's are at 40 %. My tank is bare bottom and SPS only. You can feel the turbulence if you put your hand in the tank. My Corals have crazy Polyp extension even with the lights on. I also use Mobius. I think with bare bottom and SPS it's hard to have too much flow. Also if you run them at 50% or less they are very quiet. My tank is in my bedroom and I can't hear them.

I always preferred the Tidal Swell mode over Reefcrest. It sure where you're placing them, but mine are placed two in the back and two on the sides.

I run the side ones that go across the tank at a higher rate. The two back ones that push water back to front, I run about 20 or 30 lower than the sides.

Never hurts to start out a bit slower and adjust upward as you go. Those are some large pumps for a 225, should be fun!
