My melanarus wrasse ate my skunk, blood shrimp and a peppermint I only have one peppermint left I guess no cleaner shrimp for my tank.

I wish I could keep a cleaner shrimp and some porcelain shrimp as well. But Melenurus, Yellow Hali, and Mystery wrasse wont allow it. Typically if they are in the tank and large enough before the wrasse goes in, it will work better, but if you try and introduce them, they are a $10-$30 meal.

Boring? It's not boring when the cleaner jumps on the back of the Powder Blue and tries to ride it out for the whole 8 seconds.

My cleaner shrimp has thus far been untouched by my wrasse collection, including a Melanarus, Red Line Christmas and, Long Fin Fairy. Guess so far I've been lucky.

Just wait is a matter of time mine didn't touch it since dec and this last week it decided to go shrimp hunting. I think is diferent for every fish when they decide to activate the call of the wild lol

Yes I had a mystery wrasse killer wouldn't let any shrimp in tank. Also a diamond goby even ate a skunk of mine. Then an emerald crab ate a copper band that was the worst thing a 3 dollar crab eating a 40 dollar fish. Lets say I habe no more emerald crabs in my reef tank. .

my melanurus wrasse ate my blood shrimp and peppermint shrimp also. And he also eats any snails, hermits he can get ahold of!

I agree with both sides here. I only have a 6-line wrasse and it is a model citizen in my tank not bothering any fish or invertebrates. I do however, love to watch the pair of blood shrimp ride the larger fish around the tank. Cool to watch it clean the mouth of the diamond goby as well!
