LOL. Here is my confession. We have a rule that I would ask for permission if I need to spend more than $50 for the hobby..........

Love it. Just remember it's always easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. What is the confession?LOL. Here is my confession.
We have a rule that I would ask for permission if I need to spend more than $50 for the hobby. When I got introduced to the hi- end frags and the hi-end equipment like the Apex, Tunze, Ecotech, there is no easy way to report this kind of spending, so I stop reporting..... And this has been going on for a while now.
Sometimes she does not let it go then I use the phrase "I'd rather not talk about it" with a smile. I have been putting new frags behind the big rocks so they are not easily seen
That's an easy fix. Come on over and I'll show you $49 Vortech MP40's I have. They were such a deal, I couldn't turn them down.....and she'd buy it. I guess I'm going to you-know-where when I die.![]()
hope you get that!Love it. Just remember it's always easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
We have a similar rule. I don't ask about what she spends and she don't ask about what I spend. Works perfectly. I also happen to take care of our finances so no flags arise.
I've eaten a few of the fish I've had as pets, I had 3 large red-bellied piranhas that I couldn't find a new home for. I had read in one of Dr. Axelrod's fish books that they taste good and natives eat them, so I fried them up. The meat was so flaky and tender, it was delicious and I'm not really a big fan of eating fish, but it didn't have that fishy taste.Well, at least you don't eat your aquarium fish
Nothing like a pan fried mata tang!!I've eaten a few of the fish I've had as pets, I had 3 large red-bellied piranhas that I couldn't find a new home for. I had read in one of Dr. Axelrod's fish books that they taste good and natives eat them, so I fried them up. No I started with a Panther grouper as my 1st fish and after a few weeks it would flare its fins and take food from my fingers, even liked to be petted. That's what did the eating fish thing in. I'm with ya on the whole never touch sushi thing, more for those that like it lol.I've got you beat! In my 61 years I have never eaten sushi. That is fish bait as far as I'm concerned. However, I do eat "mild" fish....that's cooked....such as fluke/flounder, salmon and tuna. I'll never touched blue fish....great fish to catch, but too oily and fishy.
So are you saying grouper is the fish that broke your record? We use to spear that down in southern Florida in the early 70's.
Deep fried sounds more like it lol it's just a southern thingAll sushi doesn't contain fish or raw ingredients. I'll hook you up with some deep fried honey chicken sushi you'd like.
