Firstly I just noticed that something seems to be eating my sea cucumber!

This has been in the tank for 2 1/2 months and just happened overnight or today.
Tank inhabitants:
Pyjama Cardinal
Purple Firefish
Royal Gamma
1 pair of occilaris clowns
Porcelain crab
15 or so blue leg hermit crabs
1 skunk cleaner shrimp
5 nas snails
5 large I don't remember what they are

Second Question

I have noticed red spiky sort of things growing on the skeleton of my frog spawn. Very hard to get a pic, but I noticed it on the shell of a crab yesterday also.... any ideas what they may be?

My tank has been running sine the beginning of September

I'm not sure where I should be posting this so if anyone thinks it should be in a different section please let it me know.

The red spikes could be vermatid snails, hard to tell without a better picture.

I know :/ sorry i'll see if I can find that crab again are those things bad?

They are a nuisance. They can spread fairly easily. They actually aren't much harm, however they do extend a web when feeding, that apparently can irritate coral. Easy to get rid of them however.

Maybe this is a little better on the frogspawn, the crab is hiding at the moment. How do I get rid of them if that is what they are?

I have that on the skeleton of one of my euphyllia. Wouldnt worry about it.
