I have a sailfin tang and it is having trouble swimming he is trying but cant get off his side and idia?

New tang? Any marks or spots, fast breathing, bulging sides, etc? Could you take a video or a few close, clear photos?

No i have had him a couple months he was swimming yesterday i fresh water dipped him and tiny black dots came off him and i put him back in the tank and he swam and later i checked on him and he was on his side

Tiny black dots could maybe be black ich, but I’m not sure that’s why he’s struggling.

He looks a bit thin, was he eating ok? What was the reason for the freshwater dip, any other symptoms? Hiding from light, swimming into power heads, gulping at the surface, white stringy poop, etc?
