I know its bad when I have to run home and acclimate and dip my zoas before my fiance gets home! Then she goes 'hmmm that is new!' and then I have to spend the next 10 minutes explaining to her that I just moved it from the back and its been there forever :xd:

Rofl my wife actually caught me bringing the frags home lol. stupid traffic.
I bought some stuff from a local reefer and he brought it over and we put it in the tanka nd i told her we traded. Later that night she was looking at the tank and says "what did you trade? Nothing is missing" :neutral:

hahahahaha your mouth probably hit the floor.the good thing about my wife is i think she knows how passionate i am about this hobby. before i found about zoanthids and salt water aquariums i was into cars. now im actually considering selling my car and focusing more on this hobby. it's either that or she just gave up and is going with the flow lol.:angel:
I just made something up and told her it was in the back because it was ugly. She thinks there is so much in the back because all this stuff in front came from the back and all the stuff I trade was in the back lol

OH...I do that too...and every coral is either $10 or $15 or I "traded" for it...I also pull into the driveway...run the bag to the back door and then come in the front...give my hubby a kiss and then see if the dogs want to go outside (don't they always) then I can sneak my purchase in under the guise of letting the dogs out....OOOHHH, I'm SO bad...a true addict!!

You just have to tell her...shows are more expensive cause they have to pay to sell there...you get your's from "local" dealers and stores...much cheaper...HEY...whatever works. #1 rule...I have never taken my husband to any coral related doing...ignorance is bliss as they say!!

When the Credit card bill comes in the mail.
But, the funny thing is.
When I sell off a few Frags to help fund my addition and hand her the money,
Nothing is ever said.
