I currently have a 120g that is 4'x2'x2' and I've got a lead on a 210g tank that is 72.5 long X 24.4 wide X 29 deep. My question is if I get this tank that is 5" deeper am I going to regret it? I'm not a tall person at only 5'8" tall and sometimes when reaching hard to reach spots in my 120g I get wet clear to my armpits. I have a pair of the plastic tongs and they pretty much suck for grabbing anything bigger than a frag and I don't want to commit to a tank this big and find out that I hate it later on....

If you are handy you could make a 5' - 6' long "stair" out of wood and carpet it or finish it so you don't have to be dealing with a stool.

Or maybe you could wear wife-beaters forever to prevent wet sleeves. :hammer:

Maintenance would be a hassle but I think the look would be sweet though.

I have a 32 inch deep tank. You can't beat the look but it is a hassle cleaning that last inch. But worth it to me.

I'm starting to lean towards getting the tank. It's fully stocked with all kinds of fish, 4 RBTA's that are huge and lots of softy's. It's only $900 too...

One of the other problems is that my 120 is fully built into the house and I don't think I could keep two larger tanks.

I know I saw it the other day, Thats what made me post that!

Get it.. my last tank was 30" tall.. scaping is really the only part that sucks. After that the plastic pick stick grabber things make life easy.
