Trigger systems is kind of hit or miss. I purchased their ATO reservoir for my tank and had to replace it twice due to bad seams between the acrylic sides. 2 of the 3 were leakers essentially. Those Triton-specific sumps are also designed for large tanks. If you have a smaller tank, a regular Trigger can work, or any sump for that matter. If you're going for a Triton, the fuge should be 10% of the tank volume.
I actually really like the Trigger Marine Depot sumps, but people had mentioned manufacturing problems with them. Plus you lose some space due to the integrated ato area. But a very nice sump regardless.

2 of the five gallon ones leaked. I had the crystal one. Ended up returning the second bad 5 gallon and went with a 10 gallon. No issues with that one. You could see the water coming out the seams and trapping under the reservoir.Yea, it seems like their standard sumps are usually good, but the special models, like the Marine Depot or BRS Tritons, have had some issues.
Did your ato reservoir leak immediately? Was it the 5 or 10 gallon? Because I was thinking of getting one to match my sump.
