I have arrived! Purple tang!

Well, I finally feel like a real hobbiest! I am qt'ing my purple tang as we speak. I am so excited to get her in- she is beautiful.

Wanted to brag and also throw a topic out - purple tang care.

I have read all the usual stuff - but would love to hear from some of you experienced with this fish. Let me know some do's and don't and share your experience.

I want a single tang in my tank and the purple, Atlantic blue and whitetail bristletooth are the ones on my list. Really want the purple but I have a beautiful Copperband butterfly and whatever I get has to play nice with him. Anxious to see how the purple and foxface get along.

Vampire tang, orange shoulder tang, chocolate tang.

Great Looking fish! Everyone with these nice looking tangs is making me want to go ahead and commit to one and get it! lol But seriously been going back and forth between purple and Achilles for my 125. Do keep us updated! Nice fish.

Achilles, Powder Blue, Goldrim, Sohal, Carribean Blue, Purple, Yellow, Desjardini Sailfin, Chevron Juvenile

I love purple tangs, I hope I will be able to keep one one day. Quite a hefty price tag though, especially with many lfs having no guarentees on fish...

Well that clan of tangs is pretty awesome! Isn't it amazing how well they get along in large clans?

Sometimes you'll get a bad apple you'll need to remove.
