Cyano is largely looked down upon. I’ve had splotches here and there. I’ll scrape it off when cleaning my tank. But it’ll come back again and pretty much sticks to the glass. I know most people freak out at the sight of this stuff but I’m quite happy. It adds oxygen to the water and to be frank... it’s prettier than algae.

Lol until it covers everything and starts to kill your coral. Lol. But I'd rather that then the turf algae patches I have. I just cant get rid of them.
Oddly I’ve always had it. It disappears and never seems to take foot. It’ll grow on the silicone and then it’ll go away. Weird. I scrape it away when cleaning the glass and it slowly comes back but it never tried to be the king of the tank.

I have it to but it’s easy to remove. My coral are growing and keeping their color so I’m not changing a thing!
