I have Dinos

I'm pretty sure I've had dinos for some time. My tank is about 10 months old. for a while I thought I had diatoms, then cyano.

I bought a VERY cheap microscope and now pretty certain it's Dinos. The microscope isnt good enough to identify the type, so I've given a sample to my other half (She's a Vet). Hopefully I will have a better video soon.

Yes. Start with siphoning and turn off whites and blues to 1%. This is a near blackout. Do this for 4 days adding 1ml of hydrogen peroxide per 10 gallons at night
You will see it start to loosen and vanish. You may blow it with a turkey baster and have it flow into sump through nylon or filter socks to trap the dino and discard it

Thanks, I'll start that tonight.

My phosphates and nitrates have always been very low. Its a 60 gallon tank. Sps/LPS, 8 fish + inverts.
Nitrates are around 2ppm and phosphates are undetectable on a Salifert test.

I have a sump with live rock. No cheato/gfo/other media. Just skimmer and filter sock.

I've also got a UV skimmer that I've read can help with certain types of Dino's. Just ordered a new bulb.
