I have ick...REEF SAFE OPTIONS?!?

Interested in seeing the pic. Ich typically wouldn’t leave red sores behind. A secondary bacterial infection is a possibility.

The sores were actually not there. It was a result of lighting. All of my fish are damsels and believe it is brookynella and ich combo. here is best photos I could get of the worst case.

Here are the pics

The fishes eyes are cloudy and there is a slight slime and white dots. Also the only fish (my first fish) that has not been affected by anything yet is my Sargent Major.

Also. How probable is it that all my fish not just my clowns got this. Because it looks like they did.

If one has it, treat it like they all have it.

where can i find formalin. what do you recommend baths or in tank dosing?
Baths, and then to your sterile qt. Check this thread out on Formalin. Ruby Reef Raly is also a more readily available option

is ruby reef rally as effective as formalin? I found formalin on amazon

I went through similar issue with ich. It's on my build thread. I just didn't have big enough QT real estate to go fallow. It wasn't a possibility for me at the time. So after reading a lot about management in these forums, and before I started purchasing a whole lot of new equipment I didn't have for a bigger QT, I tried polyplab medic. I am aware I probably didn't cure it and I am just managing it, but I haven't seen a single white spot in 9 months (and I am watching them like a hawk). My reasoning was I might as well give this a try, it was cheap and it's just 10 days, so worst case scenario if that didn't work, then I could still go spend on bigger QT tank and additional equipment and go fallow anyway with 10 day delay. After reading many articles, humblefish and many other experts advocate for erradication, so if you can do that, perhaps better to do that to start with, I just didn't because at that point in time it wasn't a possibility for me. Disclaimer = I am a newbie so take anything I say with a grain of salt.
