I've always thought those fan worms were a good thing. I don't know that they all have common names though

Xmas tree worm?

Look up a coco feather duster (or pink and white coco worm). They can have two fans. Your picture doesn't look like they have their full fans if it is a coco (they're all spiraly), but it could be regenerating! They'll toss 'em fans when they're stressed out and have to regrow them.

We have one and it is beautiful. It also dropped a head but has grown it back over a couple of months. Filter feeders, we broadcast phyto to feed it

Guys thanks a lot for your help. No i don't think is one of those. Its something similar but it is living in a small hole and it has a small "plug" that he pulls on the top of the hole when he retracts. Here two more pics with lights on where you should see this circular "plug". Coudnt upload the video. Hope to upload it soon

It’s got to be a Xmas tree worm. They have little caps/plugs they use to hide in their holes thru the rock. Pics are of ours.

Yea it is! The pics i saw online were misleading! Thank you and great pics anyway

Octonauts made me want them lol! They filter feed so anything like phyto or reef roids is good for them, even rotifers (frozen or live) broadcast fed. If you try and target feed, you have to be gentle as you probably already know, they retract when startled.
