Okay so I have a Kessil A160 and I was wondering if you can still grow a bunch of mixed corals with it and I am new to saltwater so do we keep the lights on 24/7 or keep them on for a few hours? And should the light always be blue or white or in the middle? Can a ai prime hd be better for the tank, it is a 25x25 cube?

One can grow coral, but only one can not supply enough for a whole tank, at least of 2’. Never keep a
light on for 24 hours as it will bleach your coral and stress any fish in the tank. You can keep you’r light on for several hours a day. Most people shoot for 7 to 12 hours a day. But it’s whatever works best for you. The light doesnt always have to be blue or white it can be changed at your preference. Just blue brings out the colors better.

Ok in in a about 2-3 months I will put an ai prime because right now my tank is cycling but thank you so much for all your help in a week or two I will order the ai prime.
Happy to help. And FYI you don’t need to cycle the tank 2-3 months.

You probably can grow some but you want something with more wide coverage.

Blue or white is personal preference. Some corals look better under white, some look better under blue. Some need blue to color up. Some need white. Fish mostly look better under white. Probably somebody is going to tell you corals don't like white light, or that they only use blue. I really have no idea where people get that idea. It's totally false. Look up "coral reef" images, most are shallow water maybe slightly bluish but very much white.
