I have turned off everything and still get shocked when I touch the water. What could this be? Any suggestions? Ready to just kill the power to the room let everything die and put it out to the curb

First, if you have everything unplugged getting shocked isn't possible. Do you have a multimeter? We can figure this out, really.

Found the problem. Water got onto the chord of a supposedly very good powerstrip and hit the plug. The powerstrip didn't trip for some unknown reason. I replaced the powerstrip and am no longer using that outlet since it isn't very visible. Seems to be doing better now
