Yeah, they'll do that. It eventually gets better as all that goes into your sump, but it takes forever.
I had one of these jump out of my tank, fall along the back wall, must have hit the 2x4 back there that is just above the rim of my sump and flop into my sump. No other way he could have done it. That was one lucky goby.
