Those pictures were taken as soon as I got them home, they weren't acclimated ... they already look alot better. I'll update with pictures tomorrow or thursday.
They were all $60 each. And then my reefclub discount.
Thanks, as soon as they grow I'll be happy to trade away. I'm adding a Ca Reactor and Ka Reactor to my stystem by March and I've heard that growth is ridiculous after that ... I'll cross my fingers.

I found this picture on another forum. Suppose to be the pearlberry. I just going by what was posted.
Not impressive IMO. I do like the Hawkins though.

I agree its to bland. I hope ORA does not release just anything and put a name on it. ORA corals are supposed to be unique and colorful. I was suprised that ORA was growing the Anacropora. Its just brown and boring.

I saw a frag of that, it was an odd specimen. It had no color whatsoever.

well i have the dustins deep water, and bought the hawkins, but that died the night i got it......... i really like the dustins, and will wait and i will get a frag of each of the others, but i have had almost all of the ORA corals and ended up getting rid of most of them as they were just as easy to get the same coloration out of other colors and most of them ere just too plain for me..... and some look exactly the same in coloration, just different growth patterns....

My favorite of my ORA corals is the Chips Acro.
I agree with ORA having the same Corals that you can find other places but the fact that they are 4th and 5th Generation Aquacultured Corals and they are probably the most Hardy Corals you can buy aquacultured is what make them ORA ... not the type or colors.
I agree you can get a pink birds, blue millie, green birds anywhere but it's not like ORA is charging alot for those corals.
As far as the pearlberry, I don't have anything in my tank that looks like it so I'm happy I got it. But the coral itself isn't anywhere close to my top 10 SPS pieces.
The Hawkins is a nice coral. And so is my Dustins, which at first I didn't even want I just got it because my LFS had 2 and no one was buying, now I think it falls in my top 10 SPS.
The phil's to me looks like any other green granulosa ... but again ... I didn't have a granulosa so when I got one, why not have it be ORA.

im looking at it right now and pearl berry has purplish/blue maybe even lavender tips and the polyps are more of a light green and the body has a little shimmer to it like a pearl...i guess thats where they got the name from

I think that picture is from ORA's farming vats. Dont forget the use only sunlight so colors will be different under other lighting. But I am just paste and copying that picture from another forum. I have not seen the pearlberry in person.

I know for a fact mine is pearlberry ... I was there when Fedex delivered and when the owner of the LFS pulled the bag out it said pearlberry in marker and it's on an ORA plug.
I'm not sure if that colony is pearl berry or not ... but it looks similar to what I have. I'll take more pics tomorrow of my frag and post them up. The color is looking better and better.
