why not you buy Sea Hare? It will eat all hair algae.
mollies as well but will take week for quarantine to salt water.

if i were you, instead of using chemicles inside your tank, i would say. scrub your tank, do a 3 day black out. do not let any light in whatsoever. and after that do a 40% waterchange.
