This will be my 3rd tank. I was going to get the 20g long IM AIO but it was sold out. I feel the 15g will work just fine. I have not chosen a light yet. The tank is 15" cube. I was thinking the Fluval Sea Nano would work. I'm only planning on softies, and some low light LPS like Acan or Duncan. Maybe even a chalice higher in the tank.

I will post pictures as the build progresses.

I just put a Fluvall sea Marine nano 20 watt on 10 gallon tank. $35 new on eBay. Seems like it will grow softies but with all channels up high and it’s a white light at that level. Some report it will grow lps. It’s ok for the price and my purpose but I wouldn’t do it again. Included bracket doesn’t really get high enough for spread.
Pro's cheap and decent level of control with App
Con's Short mounting bracket and if power loss your phone has to be within 60' to turn it back on.

The tank is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. I've picked the fish. Buan's Goby and a Cour Jester Goby. I have also decided on a different light.

Hopefullly my ugly temp holding tank didn't scare you off the fluvall nano light. But I do believe the quality of your tank deserves a bit better.

What light did you decide on?

It's an off brand from Amazon. Has 4.1 star rating. Glowrium is the name. There are pictures of people's reef tank in the reviews with 5 star reviews. It has a phone app. It's 18" across but that's the feet. I will make it work.

These are from the reviews. You can see they even took PAR readings.

Can’t wait to see it come together. I’ve got an IM 25. Also have a Court Jester.

I’ve looked at glow lights I’ll be watching to see how you like them. I’ve officially requested the I M Nuvo 20 long for Christmas

I wanted the 20 long but unfortunately it was sold out during the 20% off sale.

I got my light out of storage. It is a Hipargero 100W 5 channel LED. The heater I'm getting is a 200W Yukihalu. Next I will get the biofilter media and some activated carbon.
