Tonight I was looking through one of the million Reef Hobbyist magazine I have laying around my fish cave, and getting slapped in the face with pictures of clownfish hanging out in the BTA. SO...

I ripped out a million of them and taped them to my tank, and 1 hour later one of my clowns is muzzling his way into it! Amazing.

Honestly I never believed it worked until tonight! Maybe if I tape pictures of coral on the tank it'll influence the corals to grow faster too

Have you tried the pictures? I know it sounds crazy but it was awesome! Haha

This does work. Almost all the time. I've done it, have friends who have done it, had clients do it. I've had 100% success with this method I didn't believe it worked at first either haha

Worth a try! Tape up some carpet anemones hosting them!

It's not so much about what nem, but your clowns.
They may not go to that carpet for a reason, if they are not a natural host nem/clown match as found in the wild they may not, and maybe for good reason, carpets have a fairly strong sting, they may not have adapted to that nems sting cells.

Thanks. I am aware that only certain clowns host. I have 1 true perc & 2 black ice. The perc has taught the black ice to host (the welso). I also have a small BTA that the perc hosts. Plus my carpet has already eaten a few other fish, lol.

Lol.... I am going to have to give this a try. Going look at a few magazines I have around the house. I have heard of this but just laughed at the idea. I still laughed at the original post but the more I thought about it I figured why not give it a try.

Lol! I just taped up all 3 sides of my tank...Had to move my rbta closer to where my clowns are (it's been hanging out upside down under my shelf the past few days) and hid the mag-float...it's game time!
