I killed my male clown fish

I cannot believe he got suck in the hose I was draining the tank with for a water change... we cut him out but it was too late...oh:can I replace him? only one b. cardinal and the female clown in there now.. so sad...

that is very unfortunate I am sorry to hear that, but you are not the only one to do it, ha I have never sucked up a fish but I get snails and hermits going for a ride all the time.

Just make sure that when you get a new one that it is smaller than your female so that way he will not try and change over to a female and they wont fight. but make sure it is big enough to take a little bit of a beating. in my experience the females will pick on the new clown for a day or 2

I would QT for 4-6 weeks. If there are any signs of illness, it should come up in this time.
