Ick, Help first time in tank we have a sea hair in there also what can I do to treat the whole tank

I'm sorry you are going through this. There is no effective treatment for eradicating Ich in a system with inverts or corals in it. There are products that will help control it but none will eliminate it completely. It takes copper, chloroquine phosphate, or similar chemical to do that.

You can but it’s certainly not ideal. You’ll have to dose a lot of medication and test it daily until it’s fully absorbed. Removing the meds when you’re done will be more difficult, It can be done but it’s much easier to remove and treat the fish.

You cannot test for CP so that’ll leave you with copper. Copper is absorbed by rock and sand and many things found in display tanks so it won’t be a stable copper level, making it difficult to keep it in the therapeutic range. If it doesn’t remain in the therapeutic range, your treatment will be ineffective.

You’ll be amazed with how many bottles of copper you’ll have to dose before you read anything at all on a copper test kit (due to absorption).

T0 know your options it would help to know what you currently have in your tank and the tank size.
