I'm trying to decide what to do with this guy. Tank is 5 months old. He came on the live rock I started the tank with. We decided to put him in a corner and he

has grown from the size nickel to about 2 in. In the center with 3 to 4 in tentacles. Any thoughts we be helpful.

I'm going to take care of him this weekend. Question is how? Pull the rock and cut it out or injections?

That actually looks more like a Curlyque anemone which are not a pest like Aiptasia.

I have a large one that hitch hiked his way in on some gulf live rock. It’s about the size of a half dollar. He lucked into an anemone tank so I let him live but he’s the step child of the tank as he doesn’t get spot fed. My sexy shrimp use it as a rest stop on their way from the BTA to the maxi/minis.
They are (typically) not prolific spreaders. Leave him be and he will just be one. I also don’t find they move (typically). I want to say I have aptasia-x’d one in the past and that was that.

Not much of a picture, but it is not alone.
