so even if i have the 3. 3/4 returns.. that still prevents me from using the larger pumps because of the smaller pipes running from the pump. correct?
even though i have 3 returns? the water splitting between them doesnt matter?

You have three separate 3/4” returns? What is the pipe size leading up to them and how long are the 3/4” sections?

Three 3/4" returns. coming out of 1.5" manifold from pump. two of them are about 40 inches. third is about 110.

Doing a quick search, 1.5” pipe at low pressure can flow about 35 GPM. 3/4” pipe can flow about 11 GPM, so three of them is basically equal to one single 1.5” pipe.

Very hard to pass up a Dolphin pump for external use. Incredible power, pretty darn quiet, and don't have near the issues as Reeflo does.

I have always liked dolphin pumps I am using one on my new 280 build. Just don’t cheap out on the seal. I always get the 4 seal.

I still had Dolphins last decade+ with the old seal. I would certainly buy the better one now, but even the normal one is beyond what anybody else offers, IMO.

That wasn’t a personal attack. My first pump from them was a ampmaster 2100 with a number 2 seal. I wasn’t too happy one morning when I woke up with water all over my floor. I learned that lesson the hard way.
