Never buy corals you only see under LED's I bought some polyps that looked like 24k old nuggets lol I get them home and theyre really green and brown.

when i first got mine i was like wow my stuff is really nice now. then i realized those were tiny aptasia glowing in the blue

Yeah pictures are always a hard sell. Sometimes they look the same and sometimes there is a difference that only the live eye can see.

Hopefully they turn into those nuggets of gold for ya!

Where did you buy them from some places are natorious for this other people show daylight, i personaly run super blue T5'S with LEDs and love it.

Where did you buy from? I didn't think too many places around here played those kinds of tricks

Yeah, buying online is always hard to do, because they never look the same in your tank.

I go to a lot of frag swaps and see everyone running super blue LEDs to sell their stuff. I always ask them to turn on the whites so I can see what it REALLY looks like.

Sorry to hear that bro , sounds like you need some LEDs that way next time they will all be the same.

We are all so spoiled and used to glowingly fantastic corals. In nature, they all look pretty drab comparatively. Yet, I've never popped up after a dive and said, "Those were some ugly and drab corals down there!"

Can you post a pic of what they were sold to as and also what they look like in your tank? I'm interested in seeing this difference.
