I've used API flawlessly for years. Those hating them are doing it wrong.

If you want an alk standard dissolve 1.135 grams of baking soda in 1 gallon of distilled water. This will equal 10dkh. May not work with Hanna checker.

...keep in mind these are all hobby test kits....you need to find the ones that will work for you...

Do you have to cook the baking soda? Some artical said you have to bake it in the oven for anh hour before desolving
