He was on the glass up at the top and I didn't realize it when I started target feeding the palys. Stupid nomadic nem.

Wow!! I didn't know a condy could do that. I have brushed up against my sebae anemone and RBTA with no reactions. However, bristle worms make my hands swell like crazy.

Man that's crazy! Did you feel it sting immediately or did it take time?

I had a gigantea anemone that stung a girl and almost killed her, she ended up in the hospital for a little while.
Reef injuries are nothing to take lightly because people react differently.
Paly toxins can kill you.

I was fragging palys one day and had to cut one that had some nudi eggs on it. Slit my finger and of course got some toxin in with it as well. Was not a fun week after that.

I think you're allergic to the nem... I litterally rub my hand in mine with no effect. That or it thinks im a clown fish... lol.

Before the clowns began laying eggs the nem just felt sticky, you know like when they are healthy. Well after the clowns began laying the eggs I accidently brushed against the nem and it was immediately prickly, almost like it was helping the clowns protect the eggs. Not that it was necessary with big ol' hormonal mama clown around!

LOL my wife posted the bicep pic, I'm innocent! HAHahaha to answer some of the questions, no I do not have allergic reactions commonly (to anything but poison ivy) in fact I've been stung by a sting ray and it only hurt (like the devil) for an hour or so. I have touched it with my hands and it didn't sting. Even my haddoni didn't sting my hands... no idea why my bicep is apparently so sensitive! A week in and it still looks fresh!

I've heard of at least one person who got bit by a fire ant. No big, just painful. Next day, another bite, full-on anaphylactic shock.
