So I have a ton of nuclear greens and I dropped some into a QT which is an established tank. I did this to see if the tank would support coral, and for the purposes of ensuring a couple new butterflies are not polyp eaters. So for those purposes it worked well. At first I had some old lights with almost no par and most likely (I didn't test, but I suspect) very high no3 and po4. So they almost completely bleached. After some water changes and new leds, they got all the color back, but they are very different now. Here are before and after pics.

That's awesome! I think it is neat how some polyps will morph into something unexpected.
