I make a rock with FRP

Sorry but I fail to see the purpose in painting the base rock. The live corals cover it almost completely so there's very little to see in a year or two plus the coraline algae should have covered what was left. Is it uncommon in your area to start the tank with actual live rock from the ocean? Here we can buy aqua cultured live rock for about $5 a pound, about the same cost as dry rock and it generally has plants, clams, feather worms, encrusting sponges, and lots of colors of coraline algae.

It is a coral water tank of 900x450x45 of the bride who photographed it yesterday.
I arrange coral to a rock of the FRP. The additive is BEPPIN sago.
The sponge that I buried the aversion of bacteria in the there sand. The structure that a current gushes with a pipe from the bottom.

When the valid rock adds the amino acid, algae and moss appear.
Algae and the moss are produced immediately when they paint the rock of the base in a color.
Algae of the coral is covered in 1.2 years.

Because a lot of bacteria cannot live, I am activated through water under the bottom sand.
I bury the sponge.

The soil bacteria can hold approximately 1 ml every day. The filthy water of the skimmer is stable, and algae and moss decrease. When ORP is fried too much, I drop it in GEX cycle. It is an art not to give a lot at a time. (PH falls down)

I stop no makeup (hydrogen donor) at 1-2 ml a day in 120X60X60. Please be careful not to put it too much because it is a high-powered carbon source. The nourishment salt suddenly falls down when I put it a lot, but, in the case of denitrification, nitrous acid returns and puts a burden on a fish. It is an additive powerful as much as that.

The amino acid (orange) is my home,; but (is 1-2 ml of 120X60X60)1 days.) When there are many software and hardware, it is a little rather more and is OK. I think the amino acid + vitamins that whitening is suppressed and promotes the growth.
It will be necessities in T5 in particular. (not necessary for the meta stomach many lights)

Green of the Fe thickens a color of the coral. I work for green in particular, but contribute to hypoalimentation salt environment in response to phosphorus iron oxide if there is much phosphorus. I can hold 1-3 ml every day. Because I use potassium, iodine (I always use it) when I use the carbon source (I adjust it by phosphorus density) (I stop at the maker of the artificial sea water), I pay it 1-2 ml for the white once in two days.

The stability of the quality of the water entrusts montmorillonite (zeolite) and a rare metal and lets you pump it every day.

It seems like you're attempting to cultivate anerobic, denitrifying bacteria in the sponge and sand bed to get a low nutrient system. Then if I read correctly, you backflush the pipes every few hours and I assume this kicks up the substrate a bit, releasing the bacteria to be consumed or skimmed? Are you trying to cultivate aerobic and anaerobic bacteria in the substrate?

I looked on your blog and it appears that some people are injection a carbon source directly into the PVC manifold underneath the sand substrate. Is that correct?

Furthermore, as I continued to look at the blog it looked like you were attempting to use some sort of phytoplankton reactor as an algae scrubber and then using it to feed the tank? Please do tell us more!

The current experiment is different from the experiment two years ago. I do not use the UV now.
Because I do not use LIVE ROOCK, anaerobic bacteria are cultured by bottom sand if aerobic. Bacteria anaerobic a sponge.

I cancel it now, and the carbon source under PVC is given for GOS obligate prevention to the water.

The germicidal light (UV) is a duty to reduce floating of grade C (or D) of the zooxanthella not the sterilization of bacteria

First time saw people spray the rock though.

All this done by yourself ?
 
Hi Junichi, you have a very nice bonsai reef there! Unfortunatelly I also have a hard time understanding what you are writing, however from pictures and a few words I understood, it seems a very interesting approach. Could you please explain in a few very simple statements what you are doing.
