OK...have been thinking about this a lot lately. New reefer here ( 6 months- 32 gal Fluvalflex AIO ) Everything running pretty well.
So thankful for the vast wealth of info here on R2R. But maybe too much for me?
Examples: bare bottom/gravel bottom
weekly water changes / monthly water changes( or even never)
test for ammonia/ no need to test once cycled
salifert test kits/ Red Sea test kits
skimmer/ no skimmer
My point is that it would be nice to informally “intern or study” with a person or 2 who has had success and is currently having success with their reef. More importantly , this help/advice would continue as my (our) tanks grow and mature with consistency.
This could be in the form of short PM’s, texts or emails.
The amount of information (and debate) on this forum is immense!
Many have methods that work well but they can be so different from one to the next.
Long story short: Would any successful reefer out there be willing to take questions and/or offer advice from/ to a newbie like me on an ongoing basis?
Would be awesome!
Thx!
