I need a little help

I need a little help I have a couple of questions
First what is killing my zoa in this picture of my zoa you can see something is growing out of the middle of my zoa what is it and what do I do
Second in this second picture i think this is a purple plated sponge is this correct if not what is it. Notice in the "sponge" that it has the same things growing out of it that the zoa does

Those would be Aiptasia and there are fish and nudibranchs and specialized glue products to try and eliminate them.

I like my Kleine's butterfly. It is very happy to eat them whenever they show up.

yeah unfortunately you have an infestation happening, I see a lot of them. You should bring that under control before it gets out of hand, and its getting there.

What would you recommend that is reef safe for getting rid of them?

Either a butterfly or you will have an aiptasi forest

But how do they do with corals? I have several expensive corals in this tank Also any clue what the purple Thing is is it a purple Plated sponge
