I need a quiet return pump

They both appear to be the same.

I had picked both ( one is a back up ) of mine up from BRS, so can't say for sure, but sure seems that way.

I wanted to follow up to this and say that I bought the Ehiem 1262 and man....so much quieter than the Lifegard 6000. With the Lifegard, I could hear it upstairs and I could hear the vibration in the basement below where the tank sits on the main floor. Now I don't head the return pump at all....only the skimmer now....thanks for the suggestion.

@zesty

Here is the manifold. BTW I am switching the clamps to a nylon clamp. All hoses will have dual clamps on them.

Thanks for the picture! Looks nice. How do you like it? Is there anything you'd do different if you were doing it again?

After doing some tests regarding restart after power loss I am finding my pump either just took a crap or can't handle this load / head pressure of the air in the lines.

If you want non DC pump the tunze models are very quiet and very reliable.
Be careful with DC pumps allot are failing. I know my LFS stopped carrying the Jebao because they had to many returned. I have had a few of the re-badged ones fail too.
I am now trying Reef octopus Diablo DC pump because they are supposed to have fixed the problems that cause the other DC pumps to fail..
But DC pumps are as quiet as you get but reliability seems to be a issue for some.

I cant speak for longevity of jebao but i have a 12000 on my 300 and i cant go up to 50% power because my overflows cant handle flow

Update: I unplugged the ATO and my Pump and used the wrong power source for the pump. Issue is resolved now and back to being happy with the DC3000.
