Hi all,

Im checking to see if anyone in my area is cleaning anytime soon and will have some coralline they wouldnt mind giving away. I am in Lawrenceville GA.

Hope to hear from ANYONE soon.

Thanks!

Welcome to the Reef!!

It is possible to purchase some online as well from places like @AlgaeBarn. Its a better option IMO because some reefers have great Coralline and some reefers have Coralline mixed with aiptasia and who knows what else.

It is indeed a great choice without worrying about introducing anything unwanted into your system. ~Shaun K.

How old is your tank? Like some others suggest, they will eventually show up on its on, especially if you have any rock, gravel, or corals with any hint of "purple" on it. In my experience, coraline shows up when:
1) Tank is mature enough
2) Alk & Ca are both at tip top level
3) Areas of moderate to lower lighting- for some reason they don't tend to grow very well in areas with super bright, direct light, but tend to encrust the lower half fo tank, and partially shaded areas for me.

You definitely don’t need to buy it. It’s going to get there on its own and then once it does and you’re scraping it off your glass all the time- you’re going to loose your fondness for it and wonder why your wanted it so much. ;) we’ve all been there! Just give it time and enjoy your scrape-free days!
