I need dimensions and other help

I’m gonna drill a 40 gallon breeder in the near future to transfer over stock from my overstocked 10 gallon nano. So I will need to build a stand 36 3/16L, 18 1/4L and 41inch tall for viewing reasons. Another thing is I want advice on a good DIY overflow kit. I plan to break my expenses up into 500 cash and 500 PayPal credit so it’s not a complete drain on my savings when I get to it. The 500 cash is kinda laughable lol it’s new base rock with one live rock 40pounds and a 5pound live rock that plus the live rock in the 10 gallon nano and if I fill it with nutri seawater like I use for my nano which will cost me 200 dollars for 4” gallons worth should allow me to transfer fish and invertebrates over without stress once I transfer over biological filtration without causing shock of course I’ll wait a week and get a complete cycle going before adding. Plan to have it set up by June/Sep at latest or sooner if I get my medical waver and I’m off to basics than national guard stuff so I don’t have to worry about my beloved fish and invertebrates. I will be using a Eeshops sump and I’m thinking once I drain my 10 gallon I might consider drilling it and using it as a refugium, overflow plumbing fills 10 gallon far end than I drill a hole to act as a overflow sealed by a baffle water has to flow down than into the sump where I have another refugium a protein skimmer and a water pump not to mention maybe some other filtration like carbon or other things. I’m kinda trying to create a tank able to handle a higher than intended bio load not that I need it for what I will keep. Maybe I’ll get a bubble tip anemone however I’m sure my Kenya tree coral will thrive and I can let it reach its full size without fear of a defense mechanism. Maybe add another red fire shrimp get some tisbe pods in my füge and what not

I made my own overflow out of a broken window I bought on cragslist for $10, a diamond bit from amazon for another ~$10, and a $5 tube of silicone.

I drilled two holes in the back of tank using a template for a ghost overflow. That was just in case the diy didn't work, I wanted a backup plan. The internal weir/baffle is 20" x 4" x 1.5". The external box I would make smaller if I did it again, but it's 20" long 4" wide so I can get my hand/arm into it to clean and 16" deep. (220 display tank.)
